Hi, my name is Sailor Miaw and I’m a 25-year-old Mexican cosplayer. I deeply believe in making this world more feminist in every aspect and in creating safe spaces for women in whatever it is they love to do. I’ve been doing cosplay for over 10 years, and I want to dedicate my life to finding art in each of my forms of expression.

Working hand in hand with InyaRose has opened more doors for me in my journey of feminine expression. It has allowed me to inspire girls and boys who don’t fit the mold to explore and embrace their most intimate interests in a healthy and open-minded way, and to accept ourselves just as we are — with all the “no’s” and “yes’s” that come with our natural way of existing.

What inspired you to start cosplaying?

I started cosplaying because I fell in love with storytelling. Wearing a costume lets me become a version of myself that feels powerful, magical, and real all at once. It’s my way of turning imagination into something tangible — and reclaiming beauty on my own terms.
